The Fifth Grade students organized this year’s canned food drive. Close to 2000 items were collected and brought to the 18th Street Center, Catholic Charities. What a way to make your mark!

Our fifth grade students and their teacher attended the Marshall County Ag Day in Moundsville. While there, they learned about the different layers of soil, sheep shearing and making cornmeal along with seeing many farm animals and sampling some produce. Their class was given a kit which visualizes the symbiotic relationship between plants and animals in nature. The waste of the fish in the bottom provides fertilization for the plants on top. A pump makes a cycle which means you never have to water your plants.
Thank you to Mike Ferro, State Delegate, for joining us for a class photo:
Coming to class, bringing supplies, meeting our new teacher, greeting old friends…
