Teacher Biography
Mrs. Jessica Hunnell
Hi! I am absolutely honored to be your preschool teacher this year! The 2021-2022 school year will be my third year teaching at OLP. I graduated from West Liberty State College with a degree in Elementary Education. I have previously taught in a preschool in Ohio for two years.
My husband and I have two young girls. They are both currently students at Our Lady of Peace, so I truly believe in the education and Christian faith that is instilled here at our school.
I know we have a wonderful year ahead of us full of learning, laughter and growth!
A Typical Day
The Our Lady of Peace Pre-School is a wonderful part of our school family with an outstanding reputation. The program provides opportunities to help preschoolers develop a stronger, balanced foundation for spiritual, academic, and social skills. With parents and school as partners, it serves as a transition from home to school. A loving and caring atmosphere will prevail.
Our program includes: Religion/Self Esteem; Health & Safety; Reading Readiness; Field Trips; Math Readiness; Show & Tell/Sharing; Science Awareness; Music; Social Skills; Art; Motor Coordination; Group Play; Computer Skills and iPad applications; and Free Play.
The NCEA Early Childhood recommendations are followed.
Opportunities for joining with grade school students for such activities as assemblies, Christmas and Spring Show are available, and add to that family and Christian community atmosphere.
